Soccer
Soccer is a sport loved and played by millions of people worldwide. For kids, playing soccer teaches the value of hard work, how to make smart decisions quickly, how to overcome problems with strategy, and how to communicate without tearing others down. Soccer encourages healthy competition while emphasizing the importance of teamwork, cooperation, and good sportsmanship. From a physical health standpoint, soccer is unique in that it requires constant movement across a large field—a mix of walking, running and sprinting—and this builds cardiovascular health and endurance.
